Support and Services

These sessions are designed for new special education evaluators and ARD facilitators seeking a step-by-step guide to effectively facilitating various types of ARD meetings. Participants will receive a comprehensive walkthrough of the entire process—from preparation to meeting closure—tailored to common practices across most school settings. The session aims to build confidence, ensure compliance, and support best practices in ARD facilitation. Be ready on day 1 to facilitate your first annual ARD with confidence.
This collaborative session will provide a supportive and confidential space where special education evaluators can openly share and reflect on workplace challenges. In addition, this session will also provide participants with an opportunity to discuss difficult experiences, including feelings being undervalued, overlooked, or unsupported. Whether it’s about job responsibilities, professional boundaries, or respect for your expertise, this is a safe environment to be heard, validated, and empowered.

This mentoring session is designed for special education evaluators with 0-2 years of experience. Participants will receive expert guidance, practical advice, and individualize support in navigating the responsibilities of their role. This is a collaborative space to ask questions, share concerns, and gain clarity on evaluation procedures, compliance, and professional expectations—all in a supportive and judgment-free environment.
